Not sure what the issue is? the brand, the none removal of the foil, the grease itself?

The foil, messy appearance, have to move it everytime I want in there. For some reason, it annoys the buggery out of me.
1/10 for effort as my dad used to say

Why don't you remove it and put the lid back on?

Infotainment and touch-screens in cars. All controls should be tactile. It's a car - not your living room. Concentrate on driving it!

I assumed all cars infotainment screens automatically turn OFF the touch function as soon as the car is in motion. Certainly my Mazda does. Once moving, mine switches to a scroll/select/ joystick type controller, easily operated with one hand. Double that up with the satnav basic info is displayed on the HUD screen right in front of you, you very rarely have to even look at the infotainment screen once moving.

And dig at it.

Or cut the cheddar cheese in an old manner not on the short side!!

And dig at it :headshake:. It looks like a jcb has been at it. I'm showing a side of my personality thats...err questionable but I always try, heaven knows how this started, try to leave the spread as tidy and flat as possible, not like its seen the worst side of a swordfight.
I actually do generally use butter, this photo was me making toasties for the grandkids.?.they don't get butter, lucky they get spread  (only kidding of course)

None of the three cars we have owned that have had one (Ford Mondeo, Nissan Micra, Vauxhall Insignia) have turned off the touch function.

But then all of them could be reached by the front set passenger quite easily.

Vanishing remote control. Animal free house so cannot place blame their. Had the Roku remote yesterday but no where to be found today. Resolution through mobile app so at least I can pass time spinning in doors watching something on YouTube

Just found it! No idea where it has been, the room with the spinning bike is the spare bedroom and has been a complete mess until a couple of weeks back when I tided it up for use as a bedroom. So completely bemused given it was still tidy until today when I needed to empty an item of furniture to move it briefly to release a mains lead. Had put everything back without any sign still of remote and now the remote has appeared in the middle of the floor!
