As opposed to someone like me...

I live a 10 minute walk from the railway station and on my last holiday I only started packing 25 minutes before my train was due to leave! I got in such a flap that I forgot to take my wallet and I got to my destination before I noticed. I had e-tickets on my phone and fortunately was not asked to show my railcard! I got a friend to send my cards to me by special delivery.

Next time I will pack earlier. Not 2 or 3 days earlier though... Maybe 2 or 3 hours! :okay:

You my brother by any chance?

Forgot to pack shorts on year!

Got to a marathon race without shoes once!

The first Mrs Byegad was the opposite. Everything done at the last minute, and the hour following. It wasn't the main reason we split up, but boy, did it help. In the end if we had a time we needed to be somewhere I'd tell her we were due a full hour before the actual time, even then we'd be a few minutes late. As I'm always early to things the stress it caused me was enormous. I suspect that was, in the end, her point. However she was always late long before that.

Do you have her number!🤣🤣🤣

I ran the Southampton half marathon many years ago. There was an announcement over the tannoy for anyone with a spare pair of 9 1/2 trainers. I had a spare pair with me so went up and lent them to the runner who’d forgotten his. A bit miffed on meeting up after the run and discovering that he’d finished ahead of me.

Clearly you leant him the wrong shoes!^_^

A would-be audax rider drove for well over an hour to get to a 200 km event that I did in Cheshire once. He opened his kit bag at event HQ and discovered that he had left his cycling shoes at home... He was not a happy chappie!

I was going to a race in Boddington ( Gloucestershire). We’d booked accommodation for the evening before the race and when I unpacked my stuff I realised my running shoes were still in Poole. A quick dash to find a shop that sold running shoes, and the following morning saw me toeing the line in a pair of brand new trainers. ( this is not good, your feet will not forgive you )

Don't get me started!

Tall fashionable kitchen bins that are impossible to get the bag out of!

Bins bags that are too small.

Mrs who puts away kids clothes but not mine, or serves up the kids tea but not mine?

Mrs who strips the bed linen but not makes it leaving it for me to do ..

Why is her Mil always around but she never makes effort to see mine!

Why does she get 3/4 of wardrobe and I get 1/4?

Why do I get told off for not putting clothes away whilst she has 5 sets of clothes out for each day of working week ..

Why does she always say not tonight ....!

There I've said it!!!!

TV remote controls that have too many buttons on them. My dad had a TV which had buttons on two sides of the remote: one side had load of buttons, the other side had a simple selection (but still too many) buttons.

The remote control sat inside an enclosure so you could only use one side at a time.
