Trivial things that make you annoyed beyond expectations?

No one can expect everyone else to live according to their image.

What about all the heat used to make countless cups of coffee across the nation at the cake stop for cyclists each week? None of which are necessary when a cold drink will suffice.

Roadworks and diversion signs that are out of date. They've been put in place as a warning, then forgotten /abandoned after the work has been completed.
Some junctions & roundabouts have arrows pointing left, right and straight ahead..

Maybe clear the lot of them and just reinstate the 'in date' / current ones.

People who take up loads of space on the promenade on route 15. They have chairs, tables, sunbeds making it a mission weaving in and out on a busy route shared with pedestrians and the stupid get off and walk for a hundred yard signs on a very well used route. Scooters, and all manner of other wheeled vehicles seem OK mind.

So many traffic lights causing cars to have to slow down and speed up for often minor roads, shopping complexes or even a country hotel!!

All causing climate change!!

Get rid of them except for major junctions were major roads!!

I was cycling yesterday morning and ignored the A5117 Road Closed sign as you can usually get through on a bike.

They were having none of it, not even on the newly constructed bike path alongside the road. I had a nice 10 mile diversion!!

A long staggered crossroads in Knaresborough had both sets of TLs replaced by mini roundabouts and generally traffic flows better. Problem is when a set of TTLs spring up nearby and the consequential queues through the mini roundabouts. With the priority to vehicles from the right meaning what should be around a 20/25 minute bus journey to Harrogate can take upto an hour and a half with a hour spent in the queue.

To be fair, the lights aren't causing climate change, it's the large numbers of motor vehicles. Getting rid of those would be more effective.

Roadworks where they leave the top surface off the road for a day or two before finishing a whole street as a job lot.

Not an issue in a car but potentially lethal on a bike if you aren't ready for them.

Goddamnit. Same thing as me today. Not even allowed to use the path. But did you see the size of the thing ? I'd not want that on my toe.

I can attest to that, I came through Thornton Le Moors, ignoring the road closed sign but the A5117 was closed from that Hayrack Cafe going towards the Port. I could see lots of activity in the distance.

To be honest they may have done you a favour as the new cycle path is a mass of fallen branches, twigs and broken glass. I used it once and went back to the road!

I've reported the path for the glass issue last week. It's weird. It's absolutely littered with white broken glass but if you pick it up it's smoothed off ? It's not from a few smashed bottles.

The path is better than before for the branches. They have swept occasionally.

That road is nasty. Hate using it.

Yes agree, not a nice road. I used to thoroughly enjoy the bit from the Strawberry roundabout going towards Cheshire Oaks, really nice fast smooth tarmac, then they did the gravel on tar thing😟

While in the retro clothing shop I work in today I put my summer, light grey, silk flat cap on a table while I dealt with a customer. When I looked five or so minutes later It wasn't there. After we (me, the owner and another customer) searched high and low we couldn't find it. We're not saying it's been nicked, but where else could it have gone? If it has been stolen, why would you steal a cap you don't know the size of and has had someone's sweaty head in?🤔

Just had a thought. Maybe they tried it on, pretending to think it was for sale, then on seeing it fit, just walked out with it.
