Wordle. Or, more specifically, Wordle users who post their daily results on social media. What am I supposed to do with that? Am I supposed to be impressed? Commiserating? Intrigued? They post these updates with the assumption that everyone knows what it means. I haven’t a clue what the matrix of coloured squares means or if it’s good or bad, and I have no intention of getting involved.

Should I be posting the daily crossword when I have completed it?

Does that include people posting on the CC Wordle thread - or is that OK
and what about people who post Wordle result in the Retirement thread?

Well now you mention it ... I don't like moaning about the weather - and I think this winter has been unusually good for cycling in the south. But I have had a LOT of work days like this:

That's tomorrow's forecast. So basically everyone will have a lovely day, except for me riding into work.

Bah!

discounted products.

Four weeks ago when i needed one of those compression bandage stocking things for my swollen leg, I went to Superdrug and paid £6 for one. A bit more than I'd hoped but not too bad and definitely better than one from the poundshop that's unlikely to compress anything.

Leg's all better now but popped into Supredrug yesterday and those sodding compression bandages are currently on offer at £2.99

Days that start with beautiful blue skies, and by the time you are free to get out and enjoy it a while.. …it’s clouded over.
When I worked as a cycling postman it was very often a lovely morning when I went out on my round at 0630 but by the time I got back just after 0930 it was often clouding over or even raining.

Peeling a hard boiled egg yesterday and got a bit of shell on the carpet. I picked it up, dropped it on the plate and it bounced off and back on the carpet.Picked it up again dropped it more carefully back on to the plate and it bounced off back on to the carpet.Picket it up again and it stuck to my finger, so I gave it a gentle flick with my thumb and it flew back on the carpet. The red mist was flying now, at my own incompetence , so no one to take my frustrations out on except me.What does it matter? who cares? was it even important? no but still darn annoying

In my world I call that an Arthur Dent moment.
