Dogtrousers

Kilometre nibbler

Shouldn't really be a surprise as it's been brewing for a while. But surprising nonetheless.

Odd move....must have been toxic at Ineos for him to go pro conti.
On the flip side I guess he's going to be the chosen one there, get to pick what races he wants to ride etc.
Plus there's the battle for the Tour wildcard 😁

Pidcock Q36.5, Alaphilippe Tudor Pro, Abrahamsen Uno-X

Interesting.

Cycling team names can be pretty stupid, but I thing Q36.5 is especially stupid.

Why did another WT team not take him I wonder. Was it timing - and they were all full? Or is he too much of an oddball at the moment?

I'd have thought Bora if anyone...with the Red Bull thing and he's a big pull for other cycling disciplines, but he gets to have fun and be a free agent at Q36.5 ? shoot name for a team 🙄

But we're talking predominantly road here I guess and it pains me to say he's never really shown that much there ? Go on shoot me he's done some amazing descending !
But did he not say he wants to focus on the road a while ago, spat his dummy out a few times over leadership roles as well.
Hope it suits him...with a couple of results thrown in as well.

I guess the giro and Vuelta suit him better being small and punchy rider so missing the tours is no big deal? He's too much a character to be a domestique so a smaller team might suit him?
