Sitters I expect you've now almost disappeared completely after those hills? I was really sorry to miss this - I managed to get out for a slightly less ambitious spin on Saturday and it seemed like a perfect day for it.

Hmm, certainly didn't feel like a wind assisted climb! I only noticed evidence of any wind, when we had the long downhill into Machynlleth... some scary crosswinds on that descent. Felt a bit of a headwind on the main road south, down to Talybont, so I would say it was mainly Southerly.

Thanks crackle only been riding 6 months so this is a huge achievement for me but thanks to all the guys for there company . If it dosnt kill you it makes you stronger

It's a glorious descent though, and extremely well earned by that time...
