One more nobber for the ride - my brother-in-law (Rob).

He's met LD, Banjo (on the Hereford ride), TC & Cheshire Celt on the Open to Offa's ride and despite this; he'd still like to do the ride.

I might yet persuade another rider or two - we shall see . . .

I'm not convinced the furball in that photo is a sheep. Have you seen the length of the tail on that badboy... looks like a fox in sheep's clothing if you ask me!

The more the better you fancy staying in the hotel on the Friday

No chance of that, unfortunately. My eldest is having his 17th birthday party on the Friday night and 7 of his friends are staying over - I daren't go away. I just hope there aren't any scantily-clad young ladies staggering around, like last time.

I find teenagers' parties to be quite stressful events - especially, when they are held at our place. I'll be glad to get away early on the Saturday morning . . . . . . . and leave Di to clear up the mess and give them their breakfast.

No sleep for you then lol

I'll be too worried to sleep ! I'll just have to get a good night's kip on the Thursday !

I'm not going to be overly well prepared for this ride; I went out yesterday, with the intention of doing at least 50 miles, but I felt so tired, I managed just 30 miles .

That's it for me, until the day of the ride. After the ride, I doubt I'll cycle again, until about March/April 2013. Unless that is, some other nobber arranges a local(ish) ride.
