Puzzle game procrastinator!
I hadn't appreciated quite how much power is needed to get back up to speed after slowing for junctions, tight bends etc. I soon noticed once I got a power meter fitted to my bike though!

I might be tootling along at 175-200 W, but then see 350-400 W as I accelerate back up to speed.

I can imagine how much effort a peloton's tail-enders have to make to chase the bunch as they accelerate away from a hairpin bend!
