A few others complained about dropouts during the ride. My HRM was erratic/low until km 9, where it finally dropped out completely. Maybe new batteries are needed...

Interesting. During the Group Ride I had a few occurrences where it froze for a second or two, then caught up. Power stayed OK in the ride however - it was in the previous workout that I had that problem.

Mine dropped out on the Garmin as well, so probably just the batteries. Will try a cheap noname HRM next and see if eats through batteries like the Garmin Dual-HRM.

My Coospo has been faultless and still on original battery- just have to remember to unclip the recording bit from the strap after each use.

I got one for Christmas, after your recommendation.

I have only used it 3 or 4 times to date, but so far mine has been fine too.

I unclip it and wipe sweat off the unit and strap before putting them away.

I have Garmin HRM Dual I bought in May 2021. Used almost daily since then (indoor and out). I've changed the battery twice. Mine gets a rinse and dry after every use.

Yes, I started doing the same after the last battery change. Around 6-7 hours of riding during the week. I use Duracell batteries. It registered 181 BPM on my ride yesterday, which I’m 100% sure is not correct. Then the low reading and finally dropout today.

I use Panasonics, but it's always hard to know if you're getting real ones or not.

I have an old 'dumb' HRM from years ago (HR display only - it can't transmit its reading to anything else). I haven't used it in a long time so I don't know if it still works (the batteries may have corroded?) but if it does work I would like to try it alongside the Coospo on a couple of rides to see if the HR readings match.

I haven't fully explored the Coospo yet but my HR seems to go up to ~160 bpm on a hard effort and then get stuck there. I don't know if it is just my fear of over-exerting myself holding me back. The maximum power that I have seen so far is 617 W. I'll try to get a burst of 650-700 W in and if I manage that, watch what my HR does, and see if that level of effort triggers my bothersome heart flutters!

I want to find the highest level that I can safely get to rather than a higher level that might not be healthy. That will probably always hold me back in races, so I might end up only doing social rides and solo PB attempts. Those could still be fun though.

TPV is full of bugs I’m surprised how many stick with it. MyWhoosh is rapidly getting better, I recommend everybody do a month on it.

Nah, I don’t see more bugs there, just meh graphics. Don’t see myself doing a free ride on TPV, for that reason.

I don't think the graphics are much different to Zwift - very cartoon-like and not overly interesting. I prefer the 'towns' in Zwift rather than the countryside. I've not ridden TPV much yet, is it mostly countryside?

Are you talking about MyWhoosh now? In my book much better graphics than Zwift - on a capable system. Apple TV - at least what I have seen on my old 2017 sucker - is probably on par with Zwift. Granted, I have only spectated like 5 minutes in total on it on my old 720p TV, so have to factor that in!

TPV graphics is much like the BKOOL one, and is pretty boring when not racing. On BKOOL you at least have the video option on many routes.

No, I was talking about TPV :okay:
Not been on MyWhoosh yet so can't comment on that
