Not personally as I'm not up to that distance yet. However I did get out on part of the route and found I had to pedal downhill into the wind, but could almost freewheel uphill with the wind behind.

I headed over Standedge with the family (in a car) and saw a few cyclists with numbers on bikes heading down, but not that many....
