Interesting now... Leukemans is in the chase group with Millar (!) and Gilbert, but they are chasing 50 odd seconds behind Cancellara and Boonen, who together are like some kind of unnatural freight train. The pack is a further 25 seconds back.

Millar's dropped on the climb, and Cancellara has just left Boonen for dead!

Damn, he's got over half a minute already - he was descending with the corners of the houses inches from his shoulder and with 14km to go, this could be just another TT for him now...

(ha - the Cyclingnews commentators have just said exactly the same thing, only not as eloquently...)

Yep, Cancellara it is... made it look (relatively) easy. And Boonen holds on for another second place.

Robotic stuff from Spartacus in the final 20km. Boonen did well to hang on for second when it looked like Gilbert and Leukemans would reel him in. And David Millar continues to exemplify some of the best form of his career. Top ten for Hammond, too!

Bjorn did my prognostic reputation no harm with that performance.
