Thinking of going as well, do they actually finish outside the Willis building do you know? Not sure where to try and see from!

From what I can figure they finish somewhere around there. I'll be on Wherstead road as it's dead close.

.. seriously I was sooo excited, I stood outside Boots four about 2 hours, to watch them all sign on, then Cav, Renshaw, Wiggo and EBH were all really close to there beofre they rolled out ... I thought I was going to burst with the joy of it .. you know: Hanley being what it is, just having international athletes standing about there is really rather surreal and very very wonderful.

Thats why we're the 2016 European city of sport.

Along Burrell Rd, right at the rail station to Princes St, crash into the road furniture at the fire station, finish as they cross Civic Drive... I think.

I went to Cresswell for Stage 4, was a good 2 hour wait for 30 seconds viewing Took me about 20mins to cycle there from home and was getting regular text updates from my mam as to where they were on the route as she was watching on TV. After they passed I texted her to let her know, texted my kids to say they were heading their way and then started to pack up my things, before I'd even picked up my bike my mam texted to say they'd passed my house... Bloody speed demons.

I had set up a strava segment a couple of weeks before the race for interest and my PB was 19:12, after they'd raced and uploaded their data I checked their times, 10:37 for an Alex Dowsett KOM. Very impressed. Or I 'was' impressed, until I found out that they'd stole my one and only KOM further along the route, dropped me down to 23rd place. (which was on a cycle path so what the hell was Strava thinking )

Sadly the road was blocked for them there, they had to bypass it. I'm not a big fan of Cresswell Ices myself, too much ice not enough cream the times I've had it, I'd much rather cycle to Morwick!

Amazing photo of me in the background of someone else's wiggins shot (that is me right by wiggos's crash hat. An eagle eyed-pal spotted me in someone else's news feed!!

... The big grin on my face is cos I am standing this close to Wiggo and in between me and him are Cav and Renshaw and just to me left is Edvald Boasson Hagen .. .. all up 'anley duck ...
