Can't get away from work early enough to cycle up to the hills, so will probably head for Carsington Water on stage six. A natural amphitheatre with good views of the riders for a few hundred yards. Plenty to do there as well for any heretical family members

Found out today that a work colleague won a Yodel twitter comp for stage six. So he'll be getting the full hospitality treatment at the finish line in Nottingham. Can barely bring myself to look at my thermos at the moment.

PS does anyone know if there are any rules about spray-painting the roads. Was thinking of "C'mon Phinney. You're in my CQ team"

I'll be watching in Ipswich. I haven't decided what vantage point to go for yet. There are plenty to choose from as the stage is going right around the edges of my neighbourhood. I guess they've read the crime figures.

Thinking of going as well, do they actually finish outside the Willis building do you know? Not sure where to try and see from!

No pics but I was at the finish in Blyth this afternoon. Great atmosphere, lots of people - young & old. A sprint for the finish. We had a look around near the buses afterwards. Wiggo & Cav were both signing autographs & posing for selfies. I pleased that it all went off so well and everyone had a good day out.

Anyone else going up 'anley duck, tomorrow?
Quite excited to see the teams set off --- thought bet it wont be as good as when they were in Trentham and you could get right close to the buses ... some of the Aviva tour managers seem to think keeping ppl away from the teams is part of the their job ... so I will find out tomorrow

Just got back from 'anley duck. Great to see the pros up close in Stoke
Wasn't it?
.. seriously I was sooo excited, I stood outside Boots four about 2 hours, to watch them all sign on, then Cav, Renshaw, Wiggo and EBH were all really close to there beofre they rolled out ... I thought I was going to burst with the joy of it .. you know: Hanley being what it is, just having international athletes standing about there is really rather surreal and very very wonderful.
