I'm excited about it too and i'm nearly 40.

I'm going to the Knowsley TT, my debut apart from a race in Liverpool city centre years ago,hopefully heading up to the start/finish line or thereabouts,I'm 47 and very excited,that's ok isn't it ?
Hope the wind dies down !

Wet blowing a hoolie when the race was wide apart on chestnut hill Quintana pulling on the front of a fractured group. There were two riders on there own the whole race and broom wagon had gone through and they were 10mins behind them in the traffic unaided.

What a fantastic day got there before 11 and got parked very close to the high street . Quick look around then up to the 25 meters to go post For 1 oclock I had a good view of the finish line and the big screen and the guy with the mike kept us entertained for 3 hours . A very good atmosphere and an existing Finnish . Can't wait for the tdf next year

We also had a great day in Kendal. Watched 200 metres from finish and got soaked but loved it!! Was a bit different to watching Le Tour in St Malo though!!

Joffey...we were just up from you at just past the 150 to go mark. Was a fantastic day...I could do it all again today!!!

Laid up with a developing cold and missed the two days, the tour was in our region. Very annoying but it would have been impractical to stand out in that weather with head cold and very sore throat. Now I am hoping I can get rid of it before the Manchester - Blackpool run in two weeks.

had an excellent day in kendal yesterday just behind the finish line and another good day today at knowsley ,we have about 250 photos to sort through ,some of them will be posted here ......erm .....sometime soon
