We have taken the kids out of school and are heading through. Its the first time we have ever been to a tour race and we are planning on battling the crowds in Kendal mainly so we can keep the kids occupied while waiting. Bit concerned about getting a park. Any advice from anyone? We are happy to park a little way out and walk in but kids are 8 and 10 so not miles obviously!!! We are all very excited!!!

I would aim for the finish as its uphill, when there running into Kendal it will be fast a furious blink and you will miss it!

Yeah we we thinking of heading to the finish. Were thinking of parking on Parr st by the castle but not sure if it will full.

You should find a park no issues if its busy I would look round the K-Village area, just check ToB website for road closure times. Looking like rain from 10am

If we weren't taking the kids o would have happily ridden the 35 miles from home to the stage with hubby...wellll maybe if the weather was better anyway
