Double points on the Hours Cat finish today (40pt), so I think whoever wins the stage automatically gets the polka. ... might depend on where others come in though.

It's been a great ride by Geraint Thomas today, he'll be a bit miffed that he missed out on the 5 grand prize at the top of the tourmalet though

Frank looks really strong! Doesn't look to be flat out neither! How far is he off the yellow?

Edit: I absolutely adore the gritty little Tommy V!

Also, is this a "clean" Contador that we are seeing?

Great ride by Voeckler. Very impressive. He won't keep the jersey much longer, but keeping it today was a major achievement. Contador isn't finished yet, but he's not looking so well-prepared as last year. And today was another indication that Frank might be the Schleck brother to keep an eye on...

On today's form, you'd have to look to Basso and Evans. If they stay in contact on the climbs, the TT will do for the Schleck's. I don't think Contador has got it this year, though I wouldn't write him off yet.

Guess that answered my earlier question. Basso s riding into form allright. I think the old heads Basso and Evans are watching the right Schleck. Tommie should keep yellow to the Alps now.

I wondered if the other KOM people might gift this year's jersey to Hoogerland as a tribute to his courage??
Nice thought and they may well indeed. Though I very much doubt it: makes the maths a little complicated to say the least.

Basso looked comfortable, Evans looked good, F Schleck looked the better of the two Schlecks, I think Bertie is riding clean(er than he has in the past), Cunego was a bit of a surprise as I didn't expect to see him mixing it for so long.

Good racing today.

Oh you of little faith. Someone will be bringing the steak sandwiches over as we speak... and do you not recall Andy Schleck's 'remarkable' time trial last year?

On todays showing it looks as if Contador is not quite at the same level as the others, but who knows he could still come good although I think that is doubtful. I hope Evans or Basso will now pile on the pressure to the Schleck's, I don't know why but they are not the ones I support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
