I had my heart in my mouth there for Thomas.
I though he was over the edge the first time.
Looks very timid descending now but who could blame him.

What is the time limit on a mountain stage?

Is there someone at the back of the autobus telling then how fast they need to go to get home in time?

I'm not sure if these are the exact figures now but it's something like this:-

Averages based on winning rider

For mountain stages the scale goes from:
6% for less than a 26km/h average
7% for a 26km/h average
8% for a 27km/h average
9% for a 28km/h average
10% for a 29km/h average
11% for a 30km/h average
12% for a 31km/h average
13% for a 32km/h average
14% for a 33km/h average
15% for a 34km/h average
16% for a 35km/h average or greater

The gap is still growing, but 6 minutes on the big final climb, if they still have it, will be nothing. If Kreuzinger gets on to the group and they can work together, it might be another story, but I suspect he will try to ride away from them.

Kruz is really giving it his all, good of thomas to get back into the lead group too, heart in mouth when his wheel locked up back there tho!
unless the breakaways can get some more time tho looks like voeckler may keep the yellow again. egging those breakaways on, that is one horrible horrible climb they're on!
down to 3'12" now between the lead and the pel, 38 seconds kreuziger has to catch up.

This looks like another quick technical descent. If Geraint can stay on I would have thought the peloton may be at a disadvantage, he needs all the seconds he can get! Where the hells bells is Kreuziger?
