Cavandish was very good after the race when he commented on the result, I wanted Cav to win but for reasons I can't explain I'm not a fan of Greipel.

The report of Cav's comments fom Cycling News:

"Cavendish was gracious in defeat, making no excuses for not being able to hold off the charge of his former teammate. "I went early but it wasn't too early on this type of finish, but I didn't commit enough," Cavendish said. "I kicked with 170 [meters] to go but Greipel came past and beat me. I'm happy for him. He's come here to the Tour de France and won. I feel I made a mistake, but Greipel beat me, so there's no excuse I can say about that."

LOL - I wonder how the Cav haters will cope with that?

So in referring them do you agree with them or not. Im assuming you do otherwise why refer them to me ?

You've unfortunately made a false assumption. I referred them only for a 'compare and contrast' thing. Flecha made comments about Voekler (and doubtless Voekler will be drawn to make some comment back) that were relevant to the context of your post, so I referred to them. Personally, I find it interesting when you get divergent views of the same thing - regardless of whether I agree with either or neither view.

As to what I think, I have no real comment. People have spats and/or make remarks, others don't have to take sides. Perhaps Flecha was feeling understandably sore (figuratively and literally) and just lashed out. Or maybe he's always thought it of Voekler? Who knows? I don't. It's only opinion.

Ah it was the word refer that had me wondering. Maybe something like " this may be of interest to you" would suffice next time ?
