Wondering why Guillaume Martin wasn't scorching up the hills with Pog, Jonas and Remco?

It's because of his big old heavy bike.

Guillaume Martin blames lacklustre tour on 'too heavy' bicycles.

Cofidis highly pissed off with his criticism of sponsors. Martin says nuts to you I'm off to Groupama FDJ

Errr - I could be wrong
but since the weight limit isn;t it true that all the bikes weight the same - within a gramme or so

so all in all it sounds like someone looking for an excuse to me

6.8kg is the minimum but with aero frames being developed which can require a tad more material here and there, the world has moved on from having weight weenie climbing bikes all sat at 6,8kg as the aero advantage out weighs (pun intended) the extra grammes.

Fair enough - think I heard it on the commentry one day a while ago

maybe things have changed or maybe they were wrongish
