Imagine if he hadn't been here what the GC would look like.😁

G. Martin would be in the top 10 😊😊

I seriously think that Vingegaard will win the Vuelta this season.

I think its very very unlikely that he'll be racing it. Roglic will surely be JBV team leader for Vuelta?

It tends to be the norm these days that if doing more than 1 GT you do Giro and Vuelta.

Honourable exception if you crash out of the Giro early doors you might then do TdeF or crash of TdeF early and do Vuelta

There's a rather sad little group of French flags hanging off the top 10.

The last person to win it, after finishing but not winning, was Bernard Hinault in '85.

the above is clearly wrong. do you mean a former winner, i.e. multiple winner but with a gap, i.e win - complete it but not win and then win again? To be fair Hinaulkt only won in 85 because of team orders. Le Mond was stronger. He missed his "gap" years recoving from being shot didnt he?

most winners have completed it before winning it. i.e Vingegard finished 2nd in 21 and won in 22. G, Wiggo etc.

My correction in bold.

Here are all the editions which were not won by someone who had previously won, and went on to win again (does that make sense?)

They are the gap years where multiple winners did not win all their titles consecutively. They were the years that were followed by comebacks.

They are ... you know what I mean.

I can't believe the peleton let the break go for so long at about 2mins with quality of the riders in it, very foolish, they should have caught them earlier.

Hasn't Asgreen been the Danish Nat Champ TT winner for the last few years.
