Lemond ...... Was he the last guy to win the TDF ......after not winning it ???

Pogacar looks to have another TDF in him . ....but history would suggest otherwise.

Maybe he's been going too deep all year, Fleche Walonne, Amstel Gold, RVV, Paris Nice, plus breaking his wrist, while Jonas has done nothing much apart from get ready for the Tour.

This is a good point. The calendar is especially tough these days and Pog wants to win Monuments, Classics and the Tour!

Vin is like Froome, focussed only on the Tour, everything else is training for that.

It's never boring....unless you're a Movistar fan.

Did their coach not arrive this year or something?

Vin has won Critérium du Dauphiné, Itzulia Basque Country, and O Gran Camiño this year and came 3rd in Paris-Nice racing 25 days before TdF.

Pog despite his 2 months off the bike had raced 21 days winning Jaén Paraiso Interior, Vuelta a Andalucia Ruta Ciclista Del Sol, Paris - Nice, Ronde van Vlaanderen, Amstel Gold, La Flèche Wallonne and two nationals. The only races untill now that he had not won this year are Milano-Sanremo (4th), E3 Saxo Classic (3rd) and Liège-Bastogne-Liège (DNF)

I think this is a great point! Pog’s 2023 has been more fun to watch but Vingo’s was more focused and probably wiser!

Just watching the highlights to check that the misery I watched live this afternoon actually happened! My son (nicknamed Pog) can’t actually watch the highlights, he’s too fed up!
