Yeah I don't believe Vinnegard is doping.

A more feasible explanation is that while we have watched the two of them supposedly riding on the limit and inseparable in terms of ability. It would appear to me that Vinnegard wasn't on the limit at all - Hence he always had something in the tank when Pog attacked ........and of course felt pretty fresh for yesterdays TT ....

Vinnegards unwillingness to attack has made the race seem much closer than it actually is

That’s quite feasible. On stage 5 he rode away from Pog with ease. Maybe that surprised him how easy it was.
He probably worked out at that point he could just cruise around as he was a level above.

Ving has been quite defensive throughout, he cant quite cope with a super Pog last 1km attack, but knew he couldn't lose more than a handful of seconds to those anyway. But he almost didnt want to try a stage 5 attack again in case it back fired. that was an awesome ride from him yesterday, I thought / hoped Pog might nick 10-20second on him, how wrong I was, but I cant help thinking Michael Rasmussen, maybe its a Dane thing

I cant see the UAE boys being able to conjure up anything today to drag that gap back now.

Really not directed at anyone in general but there's a thread in pro cycling section dedicated to doping....anyone can say anything they want in there, well you can say it in here but the majority of us who follow and love this sport will take it with a pinch of salt,so don't spoil it for us ? The race isn't over and I've got plenty of enthusiasm and emotion invested in it 😁
couldnt agree more

He must have had his Weetabix !

Part of me likes to think that after taking the lead, Vino then lulled Pogi into a false sense of security by letting him attack and take small gains before blowing him away in the TT lol

I just think Vinnegard gets himself as much ahead as he needs to be - then marks rather than attacks.
Sure Pog can jump away for a few meters - which gives the impression that Pog can at some stage drop Vinnegard - but in reality it's a display of defensive cycling by Vinnegard.
