I'm very curious about the possibility of bike changes. Serious tri athletes practice 'transitions'. In F1 potatoes (that's pitstops to anyone but predictive text 😁) are works of scientific training.
could it all come down to time 'between ' bikes...

they practice them quite a lot, maybe not as much as F1 Potato races

For twopence worth, I think that Pog will take 10 seconds on Vinny, with a bike change at the bottom of the climb for both riders.
Although the time gains by changing bikes might be neutralized by the time taken to actually change bikes.
Should be interesting though.

Ten seconds ! Are you doing that on purpose, could you not have just picked a odd number...my nerves are shot as it is.😁
Let's just hope there's no mechanicals, punctures or clown like bike changes.

That hill must favour Pog! His explosive power is incredible. But, the long climb tomorrow is set up for V. Let battle commence.

The Uno X cyclist looks like he is wearing an American Fireman's helmet from the back view 😊

Eurosport has moved to a different channel number on Sky for anyone punching in 410.

A 14mile TT, it seems a bit short to me, but 10 miles seems to be quite fashionable nowadays too.

I see a lot of TT riders going fast over 10 miles in Cheshire, seems to be a popular distance , maybe, so they can get home to watch TV.

I remember when a 25mile TT was considered short.

I recall some years back there were regular TT's down the A41 Chester towards Whitchurch on a Sunday.

Presumably the motorists were more patient in them days.

I remember them well. Bouncing along to Broxton on an 18mm tub that had about 1000 PSI in them.
Hate the A41 now - will only use if I have to get to another turnoff.
