Incidentally, anyone see that cattle-grid on a descent yesterday? Typical of the Pyrenees, but I hope the riders were warned.
it was on a bend, the road was far from dry, and it looked like quite a bump :O

3 week tours are a slow burner. The first week is often setting the drama up and something for the sprinters.

They're not to everyone's cup of tea. You're asking a lot to expect Classic style action for 21 days on the trot.

Ineos are lacking a GC rider this year.
