read the OP or google

I love* it when people say that, especially if they then up the sarcasm with a LMGTFY link, and then when you follow it, the information you requested isn't actually out there anyway.

I'm genuinely interested in the processes involved in such a service - I might even be interested in such a thing myself one day.

(*and by 'love' I mean 'despise with such a passion it drives my motivation to continue on my work developing the technology to inflict pain over the internet ;) )

Fair enough, having a bike fit, if it works for you. Don't think I'd get one done myself though... when I took up cycling again about 8 yrs ago, I began tweaking the set up on my bike(s) after/during each ride, till I'd got it so it really suited me, and was comfortable. That'll do for me. The only person I know who's paid for one, now complains of back ache, numb hands and b0llocks,but is insistent that it was money well spent.

I know of 7 people who have had bike fits, and all fell it was worth while. So that cancels your one out, I am always prepared to listen to an expert and pay for the privilege.

At the end of the day £100, only small change for a lot of people. If you can afford it and happy to spend it enjoy yourself.

A bike fit might be important for some but I'd rather spend my hard earned cash on some carbon forks that I've just found don't fit my frame and a stem that's probably a couple of cm too long

I'm building a bike that is about as unsuitable and poorly fitting as possible....so all you perfect bike fit boys IN YOUR FACE !
