Good skills. It's like 60miles round trip here for any building materials so it can wait.Wickes were doing a 'roaring' trade in fence panels, they were flying of the shelves. I grabbed 2 clear PVC corrugated sheets for my repairs as they only had 4 in stock, so decided to go at 7pm last night rather than risk being sold out this morning.

Neighbours greenhouse is now dust all over their garden. Glass everywhere.
I can't find my incinerator bin lid. Gone with the wind lol.
Started blowin here again so lobbed next doors stuff back and hideing indoors again.
I did see that the big tree end of the road has been shoved out the way. Probably the farm contractor that lives other side .
I have got s***loads of work to get on with Monday.
Tree cutting and fencing I think for the next month or so.
Exactly! The wind speed forecast for here is as bad as Friday’s Eunice, but because London won’t be affected then they don’t really seem bothered…🤷♂️That's yesterday's storm out of the way. Now we can get back on topic and talk about tomorrow's storm again!
Don't think it's been given a name yet, probably because it's too far north (i.e. north of Birmingham) for the met office and BBC to bother their arses about.

Watched one that had diverted from Leeds-Bradford to Manchester, go back to Leeds-Bradford. Two failed attempts at landing before diverting to Teeside, where it landed on the second attempt. My sister was due to fly out to Lanzarote from Stansted at 10:15 on Friday. Her plane finally took off just after 16:35.
It could have been worse and you could have been on one of the incomming flights. Watching the amount of go-arounds and those in holding patterns on Flightradar24 was fun way of filling a quiet afternoon at work with Felixstowe Port having been shut down all day.
Of the lamb may not sound too bad."The Met Office, Met Éireann and KNMI have announced the storm names they have selected from over 10,000 submissions put forward by the UK public in summer 2021. The names chosen reflect the diversity of the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands."
I find it difficult to believe that "the UK public" submitted GLADYS (lovely name though it is) in any great number. I suppose one could say the same about EUNICE (lovely name though it is).
"there are no storms [or names] for Q, U, X, Y and Z" so eat your heart out Quentin, Una, Xavier, Yvette and Zebidee]
