Anything over 15 miles and I carry a little food with me, a granola bar or something. And a lot of water.

So following the first biggie I have now extended it by 10 miles to hit 30 miles. I also managed to plan the route on Strava and get the gpx loaded on to my phone so I can follow it with navigation take out the stopping to think where to go next. Fingers crossed the weather is on my side this weekend. Ever the optimist haha

I'll throw my wheels in for that one too at the weekend weather permitting. I find the last five miles of a 30 miler hard work and that needs to improve for me before I contemplate anymore. Must remember to bring something to snack on, I didn't get on with eating wine gums whilst riding but I think I might have rediscovered the joys of polo mints.

As others have said, good luck with the ride (and the weather) over the wek-end. Don't worry about the speed/time for now, just enjoy yerself!

Due to being the lucky guy I am it's nice today and I'm stuck in work which is a shame. Checked the weather for tomorrow low and behold it's raining. I'm sure I'll still enjoy it though. Going to the bike shop today get a few spare tubes and so on along with a saddle bag as I haven't purchased one yet and I'm sick of the back pack.. roll on 5pm and if it's not to hard a shift today I may get out later for a ride.
