Titanium drum washing machines ?

Do they really prevent lime scale build up or is it just a marketing ploy?
Mrs Ck is looking at them all starry eyed as ours is making a noise like a jet plane taking off on the spin cycle , i reckon the bearing have gone so not worth repairing .We do live in a hard water area.

We're in a very soft water area so not much help with limescale, but washing machines are one area I always go cheap. We get a cheap one with a big load, fast spin and A++ rating then run it to destruction and repeat.

Yup convinced swmbo its a gimmick , got a standard one with bigger load capacity etc etc for half the price coming tomorrow , thank you argos for 6 months interest free ( yea i know its loaded into the price somewhere ) .

To be fair she does has a lot of health issues so i do what i do , i just felt like a whinge at the time ! Mrs CK may be many things but ...
She came along at a bad time of my life and turned it around so although she drives me up the wall at times loyalty counts in my book.

Don't get sucked in. Just buy a cheaper machine. Silly thing is, just how many programmes on a machine do you actually use ? We mainly use the synthetic (1 hour 10 mins) and the quick 40 minute wash 99% of the time !
