I justify it by saying - thats what i wantCost!!! Hard enough to justify 3.5k to myself
I have just had a really interesting conversation with Richard @ Starley Bikes, and I have to say he ticked every single box and then some. Stainless steel polished frame, disc braked, concealed cables/pipes, mudguard clearance, mudguard eyes, (and rack eyes if you want as well), all built in the UK and a lifetime warranty with the original owner!
They do need to line up the screw slots on the head badge though ... (better still use double sided tape as Mason do!).
They have this reduced but wrong model and size (56cm, I need 54).

The non disc Etape is reduced in 52cm but again not what I want and too small

Hmm no fork though and £1045 with bead logosEtape disc frame 54cm now £899, worth the compromise on TA? https://shop.enigmabikes.com/collections/factory-outlet/products/etape-disc-1![]()
But can you afford your dentistry & the frame at that price?Hmm no fork though and £1045 with bead logos
