Morning all.
This is my last week of freedom as I start work again on Monday! Yikes. It's really soon. Very Phased Return. But still.
So many unfinished little jobs about the house and hobby projects I can't finish as Peripheral Neuropathy has returned with a vengeance!
Anyway, sunny here. My baggie is merrily farting away. Best strap on me girdle and polish up last two wheels with the new tyres.

Coffee. Check.
Custard don't-nut. Check.
Laters. Check.

Morning Folks,

Quite a fresh ride into town this morning, at least it's might when I set off now. One of the canteen areas at the office is out of action so will have to bag a microwave early if I want to scoff my cottage pie on time...

Onwards to dealing with stupidity.

Coffee....?
Can't find a thread directly relating to this, so here it is.#
I have a Krupps espresso machine with a frother wand and a portafilter thing. I use a 'knock box' to empty the portafilter after each cup. After making the wife's, the daughter's and my coffee this morning I had to empty said Knock Box into the food caddy for recycling and making a mess all over the floor as I had to knock the knock box on the side of the caddy to get all the stuck grounds out.
Shirley there must be a bigger 'knock box' for a 'knock box' and so on? Where would this madness end?

That'll teach you for being a tart. We buy Lavazza in bulk. Qualita d'Oro and Rosso, pre ground vacuum packed. It's as good as grinding yourself and once opened, it goes in a conserve jar in the fridge. Each pack lasts up to 2 weeks.

Clearly you aren’t much of coffee fan.

Out for a ride with friends, just near the top of the last hill before he got home his left hand crank slipped round. When I looked at it the plastic retaining screw in thing had gone and the 2 bolts on the crank were loose. Looked like it has smoothed off some of the splines in the crank. He was not chuffed as he had just had the bike serviced and it was a (Ultegra) crank with powermeter attached.
I think i would be having words with the bike mechanic.....

I'm guessing it's a square one, looking at the JLC 2025 W&W offerings...

While you lot are swanning around, buying watches, filling hot tubs, dodging taxes et al, para mi now 'kin knacked after a lot of toiling in the hot sun. More scarifying, raking, multiple bags filled, barsteward couch grass rhizomes extraction and on and on. Time for a coldie methinks.

Oh and for public interest, the flip valve contraption has encouraged a return to normal style peeing. Will see how the overnight sesh pans out.
