Sun and frosty again, back to normal!
Toast and coffee then ride.
It's oh so quiet here...

The forecasted heat wave seems conspicuous by its absence. Worse still I think we are going to un out of coffee beans again. It seems that company we get them from has changed the size of the bags from 250g to 225g so a bag doesn’t last a week anymore. I might look fo more local alternatives.

I buy a 1kg at a time, the wee bags don't last long!

The company get ours from send different beans every 2 weeks so you are getting new flavours. However when we ran out last time I bought some from place in Malton which is 10 miles away and they were very nice. So that might be the way to go and it’s near my mates bike shop.

Might play with the drone locally, then after a hummus/bread/salad lunch mosey over to friends a couple of valleys away on the new old-man e-bike, and do a bit more dronage. Next week looks decidedly less drone- & cycling friendly weather.

Just went out to check bike tyres hadn't deflated and disturbed a red squirrel at the bird feeder, it's starting to be a regular.

That'll teach you for being a tart. We buy Lavazza in bulk. Qualita d'Oro and Rosso, pre ground vacuum packed. It's as good as grinding yourself and once opened, it goes in a conserve jar in the fridge. Each pack lasts up to 2 weeks.

Anyhoo.

Day of putting Tricky's room back together. Extra coffee. Slept with 2 throws over the quilt as we had the windows open due to gloss stink and it was just above freezing out. Was a bit like tenting. Slept well.
