Cool. Did you use the hanger alignment tool before fitting the mech?

No I thought that was just to realign a pissed derailleur that needed pulling back into line
Nope.
Put the wheel in on the floor without the mech. Make sure it's in tight then put the bike in the stand
Use alignment tool to set up the new hanger before fitting the mech.
I guarantee that it needs doing in order to get the shifting nice .
I've had to do new bikes out of the box plenty of times and not just sub £1k machines.
It will stop ghost shifting

I'm a little lost now , the hanger is flush in the dropout , there's no scope for any alignment or misalignment for that matter now it's in and fixed ,

Just watched the park tools video , interesting it seems that's for hangers that have a bang is it also possible for brand new hangers to be out as well ?
There are lots of variables.
The only new bikes I've ever assembled without needing such a tool are very few and I've assembled 0000s
Best tools I have in my workshop include a hanger alignment.
Like Ming said suck it and see but personally I just true the hangers up and get on with tuning the mech. It makes it easy and simple to do then.
It doesn't matter how much you try in some cases to set up the shifting unless you do.
