Of course what we should really be doing here is getting into overly detailed, and somewhat inflammatory chats over wobbly bottom brackets, or the best route from Chester Le Street, to Grange over Sands avoiding A roads.

Thereby providing incendiary material for our esteemed OP to get aerated about.

I suspect that's what he's after really

What is the best route from Chester Le Street, to Grange over Sands avoiding A roads when riding with a wobbly bottom bracket? Since you mention it..........

Hello decadence
Of course, I thought we could meander the lanes, and take in Robin Hoods Bay along the way..

You know - go the scenic route :okay:
And could we go via Tarbert on the Isle of Harris? I'm rather partial to the gin they distil there.

Oooh, yessy pleesy, and if we're going that far, can we take the coast road and camp at Hushinish?? My fave beach..

We could then take the long route back via the Uists, and also call in at a few of my fave hostelries on Skye and Mull.

I mean, what's the rush to get to Grange over Sands anyhow.??
Its overrated* imo

* That should get em going..

And there's that bottom bracket to consider too..

Via Mornington Crescent, surely that is obvious?

Have we covered posts that make "hilarious" reference to the current political drama of the day, even when the topic has no link whatsoever? By people who must think they are stand-up alternative comedians
( "little bit of politics" (c) Ben Elton )

Hrrrmph.

Particularly annoying when those references spread through the thread like a virus!
