Some of us have been in the Army. Some of us have, and are of the generation, for example, where many of our colleagues had done a turn guarding Rudolph Hess, and know full well what the instructions were for a Nazzy who tried to leg it.

I haven't been in the Army. But I'm pretty sure that the number of Nazis who tried to leg it with their ankles shackled together is vanishingly small.

What is going on in this photo?

(I have to admit I don't know the stories behind some of these photos).

1960's and the Vietnam war, the Americans bombed the little girls village with Napalm and the girl got severe burns, I can't remember the girls name now but she survived. The picture was used by the anti war movement to campaign against the war
