Cloudy and dull and damp and... well, we needed a bit of rain. That'll dampen down the forest fires locally.
Chores and stuff and some good decisions to make.

Morning. Bright and chilly. First day back since August! Only 2.5 hours today. I might survive. Only Frank can scupper things. Change of clothes in boot of car just in case.

In offices for meetings, followed by night out - so training would have taken a back step but suspected broken toe has enforced rest

Could really do with going home later but staying over, at least I have Tuesday night to pack a bike and holiday kit

Looks like there was sogginess overnight but its sunny here now after the morning mist got burned off.

WFH today as CBA to go into town after last week's work exertions, but going in tomorrow as after work beers is on the card with old uni mates. Time for another coffee.

Thanks guys. Survived this morning OK. TBH most of it was just chatting to colleagues and restarting PC and Laptop umpteen times for updates. A coffee and a meeting later and it was time to go home!
Bummer though as halfway home at traffic lights I got carpet bombed by a low flying muck-spreader. All over my car that I had just washed yesterday. Didn't even last 24 hours being clean! Just had to rewash completely.
One of these days I'm gonna catch me a seagull and empty the contents of my Colostomy bag all over its head! That'll learn it!

Nice ride into town to do some shopping for food & middle of Lidl (secateurs, lopping thing, trainers) getting a wodge of unforecast sunshine & blue skies, nice salad lunch, did laundry, swept chimney, did a long-overdue & tidy bodge to secure the chimney access cover, now chunky showers passing through, with lots of much-needed rain forecast for the night. Time for a cocoa before thinking about cooking the chipolatas in onions & lardons for supper.
