This tiny submarine 2.4 miles under the sea, visiting the relics of RMS Titanic. Can it be found and the crew saved before the air runs out?

Comms were lost whilst they would have been on the way down, but that had happened before, so who knows? If the ROV has seen the debris underwater though, as reported, then the only place they'd have been looking is around the wreck because it's the only place to look, absent any other clues and it seems the banging reports were erroneous)

I didn't particularly mean it happened at a 'high' altitude, I just meant that I wonder if they were close but never got to see it, or never got to do anything before it happened.
Maybe the mission had been 'successful' and it then happened as they were leaving? Who knows.

Anyway, it's speculation as always.

If there's a political scandal about the company who cobbled that thing together, will it be called Oceangategate?

I am curious as well, to be fair.

Probably similar to when you accidentally stand on an insect. It made me kind of laugh but not, when I heard a retired US Navy officer on the radio/TV last night say "Anyone subjected to that amount of oceon pressure will either be crushed immediately or if not drown". As far as I know drowning takes about a minute, which you don't get when that oceon drops on you!
