I thought his silly haircut was to hide the huge ugly scar he got on his forehead from the dragcar crash

Yes, that's possible - although I'm sure I saw him on TV fairly shortly afterwards and before the new haircut and he didn't have a scar then... I may be wrong..

I think the boat/cars were brilliant. Bettered only perhaps by the ski-jumping Mini and the immortal line as it fired up: "We're at the cutting edge of cocking about!"

that about sums it up really I think JC is a brilliantly funny entertainer . I bet he'd be fun to be around with his crazy stunts and infectious larf . he shows the same distain to everybody equally

Hmm, well, I prefer Hammond (obviously!) and May myself, but there's no doubt Clarkson is the perfect foil for them - well, they are a perfect mix altogether - May - careful, logical, cautious, Hammond - game for most stuff, a bit sensible, cheery all the time, and Clarkson - completely gung ho and up for anything. Each on their own is a very competant presenter of certain types of stuff, but in terms of these stunts, I think each on their own would be rather dull after a while.
