i have no idea, and i mean not a clue about bikes, but that one looks nice. was it expensive, if you don't mind me asking.

I dont know what to do, i'd just like to try a road bike for a few rides, see how the bike and ride feel, and if i like the possitioning and stuff.

what should i do, are there places i could hire one or something??

a good imdependant shop will let you test ride bikes and make sure it fits

not Halfords, my memory is terrible but I'm sure Devon bike shops has come before, perhaps search the sticky about LBSes

Not at all,to buy it now is £329, from halfords, now most dont like halfords, but Im lucky I guess, my local store has good people in who seem to know what they are doing, so I have no complaints.
But try to get a few test rides first just in case your not happy with the type of bike.
Iv been out on mine a couple of times now and find it light and surprisingly comfortable for a skinny wheeler.
