So, a first class stamp is 70p, but to get a signature for proof of delivery nearly trebles the price to £1.90.

But in your words, as an employee of the Post Office, the only way to actually guarantee a letter gets where it's going is to pay nearly ten times the price of a stamp for "Special Delivery"

What a business model - here's a product, but if you want it to actually work you need to pay 10x the price.

Personally, I’d rather that shops didn’t unnecessarily hold my personal data. Like my email address.

In fact, I don’t even like giving Starbucks my name to write on their cups...

I don't really want to buy something in your shop / cafe but would feel guilty using your toilets otherwise. Shame you can't find open public toilets these days.

I don't know, maybe you've always been a grumpy, miserable pile of mucus hell bent on sucking the life from your daughter, but I'm sure that if you don't change your attitude, eventually she'll just stop calling 3-4 times every single day to check on you. She'll no doubt stop coming to visit you on the rare days she's not working and actually spend the little time she has tidying her home instead...which you incessantly moan at her to do. You're supposed to be there for her, not the other way round.
