I'd like someone to invent tarmac that absorbs and stores the sun's heat/UV rays, solar panel style. During this hot weather spell all that power/energy could be stored/absorbed by the tarmac, then released come the freezing cold days, thus preventing the roads and pavements needing salt/grit to keep them safe.🤔

I think they have one in the Netherlands which does generate solar power?.

I'd quite like my monitors at work to be able to detect which one of them I'm looking at and have the software adjust the keyboard focus automatically. That seems like it should be a simple enough thing with today's technology.
