People on buses who sit in the aisle seat, leaving the window seat empty. They don't even put a bag on it to "justify" claiming two seats.

It's always happened, but was quite rare. This year it seems to have become the norm. Ask them to budge up and they usually do so, but with very bad grace.

If you don't want people to sit next to you, pay for a taxi.

Or worse, those who stand at the bottom of the stairs on a bus, even though there are seats, blocking the way for anyone wanting to get on or off.

But that means getting up again. Worse, it could cause unnecessary social interaction. This is bad enough at any time, but especially before 9am.

Fair point, it can be a bit of a free for all.

Not really.

You get a double 00 gauge track, convert a couple of flatbed or timber trucks. Locomotive on one track, then hauls the toast to the table.

Set everything up right and you can even send everything to the sink after you've eaten.

A good idea, but it would attract too much attention.

There's also the danger in a conference or unknown group that there will be several extroverts who decide you need 'encouraging' to be sociable, usually through the use of volume.

Isn't it considered rude to talk whist eating?
