Things that annoy you, that shouldn't..

I have been thinking about replying to this thread for a coupe of nights but have decided there a far far far far too many petty things which annoy me that I should just not bother - even thinking about posting them annoys me, and deciding not to post annoys me, and telling you lot about it makes me mad...

davyo, reminds me of the time a couple of years ago when walking down the sidewalk on madison avenue(nyc)when walking towards me was a guy well dressed in a suit, there was a moment where i was deceiding if i should step to the side to get out of his line of path when he walks dead into me saying 'move mutha ****a move'! i was gobsmacked but some how adopted his attitude when walking through manhatten...it helped alot!

I also get really annoyed by the term "pan fried" as seen on restaurant menus. I always feel like asking the chef, "Well what do suppose we think you fried it in? Your girlfriend's knickers from yesterday?" Idiots!

And the other culinary one is Sea Bass. The British name for the fish is Bass. Because the Americans call anything which looks like a perch and lives in freshwater a bass, they call the thing that looks like a perch and lives in the sea, sea-bass. Fair enough. But because we call freshwater fish which look like perch, perch we call the ones in the sea bass. But some TV chef dimwit who probably doesn't know a stickleback from a great white shark imported the term and we now appear to be stuck with it.
