There has been a hole in my roof for the past week (a dodgy ridge with a slipped slate below it) so the recent rain has been getting in. A roofer has been out this morning before today's rain started and sorted it out. He has to come back later to remove the plastic sheet that he put over the new ridge mortar to allow it to set. I wouldn't fancy going up on a roof in the pouring rain!

We have sunshine now. (And I have an intact roof again, waiting for the rain to return...)

I am still suffering from a mild lurgy but I have hardly been out of the house for a week, so I think I'll meander out to the shops on my bike for 30 minutes of sun exposure.

My laundry's on the line, and they're forecasting heavy rain between 3 & 4, so I'm sat here looking out of the window wondering how far to push it.

Very pleasant here today. 13-14C and sunny for all my ride this afternoon - shorts and short sleeves, and comfortable.
