We've a fog rolling in now. Visibility less than 70 yards.

Okay... who stole our hills?!

I know that I am surrounded by lumpy hillsides soaring to about 300 metres above the town but I can't see any of them.

I don't really feel like going out in that chilly damp murk but I am running out of supplies so I will have to at some point.

Turbo trainer later. The forecast looks better from tomorrow for at least 3 or 4 days so I'll be back out on my singlespeed bike then.

A friend of mine called in this afternoon. He said that he had ridden up through the mist/fog this morning and found some nice blue skies above and beyond the murk. He said that some of the lanes he rode down had been gritted for the first time this year, and some that hadn't had a covering of frost in stretches not reached by direct sunlight...
