Warm, sunny and blustery here - the cloud that came over mid afternoon has blown away.

They are fabulous.

Hence fifth year in a row, doing just that.

It's nice to have some solitude, and peace.

Excepting the cows keep ringing their bells, all night long o,utside Yr tent.

Lake District (SE) - another grim start to the day.

Blustery, drizzley and 13.5C.

Forecast for rest of the day and weekend is less than inspiring.

Lots of leaves blown off the trees last night too.

Too much heat yesterday. Bailed off the beach as it was too hot. Think I got a bit of heat stroke as felt rather ill all evening.

Just checking the forecast for the next week to plan my cycling and it doesn't matter. Chances of being blown inside out and getting wet, fairly high on any day.

Overcast, dull, a bit of a breeze here in Poshshire. Not cold though - Walking the dog at 0630hrs in just a T shirt (and trousers, natch).

Same again, gone to a fish restaurant to escape the heat in Puerto Mogan. Came here on the ferry, and an hour walking round the market and me and my daughter are feeling rough with the heat despite drinking loads of water
