Windy and grey. Pretty much like me, actually...
MrsPete said it snowed a little bit earlier (before I was awake)

From 5am till now:

Windy and dark. My car thinks it is drunk and cannot drive in straight line.
Windy and a bit of grey daylight. Cold. I've done a sprint between my car and a building.
Very windy. Let's put a movie on.
Heavy rain. Oh dear ...
Sunny. Really ?
Still very windy. Time for another movie.
Sleet. Looks like the weather got confused with BST.
Sunny. Nope, I'm not going out.
Still too windy to go out. Not for that lonely runner.
Hail and wind. That runner decided to turn around and run back home.
Sunny. Wtf ...
It's still very windy. Car feels a bit better and drives in a straight line.
I'm at home.

After a long spell of lovely weather the SE Lakes has returned to normal.

Drizzly yesterday & cold.

Same today.

And tomorrow is rain all the way.

Wonderful! At least some of Manchester's water supply will be topped up.

Supposed to be finishing getting moss off of the roof of the house - even with a full high access harness on and some fancy ropework I'm not going to chance slithering around on the tiles.

It had to happen, after almost a month of pleasant dry weather, it's just started raining on the Costa Clyde.
I hope that wasn't our summer that we've just had. It's odd how often that happens here, a nice few weeks in spring, then summer is a complete non event .

Currently it's blooming grotty in SE Lakeland - drizzly on and off and for the second day it's very windy.

Not been up long and the heating is on to perk the house up a bit.

I think we've probably seen the best of summer last month. We might get the odd week or two during the balance of June and then July followed by the typical wet August that we have up here (or even down here if you're further north).

Lovely warm sunny day in Northern Argyll. Had to water the cabbage plants in as the soil is too dry. A cabbage butterfly appeared to be sussing out my plants for future reference. Soapy water and hand picking was what used to be used to control the caterpillers but since I have more cabbage than usual this means more work. Cannot be bothered cutting the grass and in any case I think I will leave most of the back area to grow and just cut a couple of paths.

Absolutely pish here in East Lothian.

Still going out in it though. Have a salmon and pepper rosti breakfast to work off
