half way up a mountain in Wales the whole of last week has been a mixture of wet, wind and a few bright periods , l know why Wales is such a green and pleasant land.

miserable and chucking it down , agreed with club sec to cancel ride then it stopped raining , just did a steady 25 miles before dinner and more forecast rain.
Lot of back roads flooded halfway across from field run off and thankfully patient drivers.

Dreadful, abandoned plan to ride to Buttertubs to watch world champs. Then found out the race had taken a similar decision. Such a shame for the organisers and the good folk of Hawes and Swaledale.
