Walking round the cemetery an hour or so ago i got talking to an elderly bloke. He asked me if I went to 'The Jazz' club in the 1950's. To save us both the embarrassment I didn't tell him I wasn't born till 1960. Instead saying "No, I was away doing my National Service at the time". Thank feck he didn't then ask which service/regiment I served in!!!

I was chatting with a young rider after our evening 10 a couple of years ago about PB's etc. Realised that my PB's were set 30 years before he was even born!

I find it when I am looking for something on a shelf in a shop . Example , a simple bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk ! It's chock a block with everything but! All looking just like what you want but not ! So many products !

This morning when setting off on the trike I put on mitts I thought but after a couple of hundred yards realised I had one mitt on my left hand and full finger glove on the right.

Only 52, fitter than I was at 48, and 4 years further on from breaking my spine.😄

I'm finding that doing any job on the cars is taking a lot longer, I seem to spend as much time looking for the tools that I have just had in my hand & put down as doing the actual job. I'm also having to go back & check the things that I have done to make sure that I have actually done them.

I tried to run a short distance yesterday and my body wouldn't cooperate!

Seems I can cycle all day but not run 50 metres!

When did that happen?

I must lose my specs at least twice a day, usually they’re on my head!
