Where do both ends of the charging lead go, and does it matter if you try connecting the wrong end?

This is something I have never done. We did try placing an online order once, possibly 20 years ago. Got so far and then lost the lot before the order was placed. Never tried again since. I guess things have changed in that time????

The two main reasons are that I don't shop at only one supermarket and I'm not happy, from an environmental perspective, with the vast number of home delivery vehicles on the roads.

I like to do my main shop at Aldi. I'm happy with the overall quality for day to day stuff, the store layout never changes (big plus), and the prices are good. Then I have to use Tesco for things either Aldi don't do or the quality isn't good enough. For example Aldi washing up liquid has gone way down in quality and Tesco offer1.5 litre Fairy Liquid at a very good price. Coffee. Can't get decent coffee in Aldi. I refuse to use Tesco for a main shop unless it's absolutely unavoidable. The Tesco management are world leaders in conning and ripping off the consumer. Shopping in Tesco takes for ever because one can't trust the special prices and one has to compare the per gram, per litre price on every item. A recent example in Tesco. Club Card price for Anchor spreadable £7.50 for 500g pack. On the next shelf are 400g packs at £3.25 = 800g for £6.50. £1 less for 300g more. Tesco are robbing, thieving so and sos.Everry little helps..................yep every little helps towards the £2.7 - 3.0billion profits.

Then of course I need Morrison's for Aviation gin and Booth's when we need the unusual stuff.............

My thoughts aswell.

Good morning all.
An early awakening for me this morning for some reason.
Weatherwise it's going to be a kinda sunny day with a bit of cloud but no rain today.
There is a meeting of the escape committee this afternoon in The Railway Bell 🔔 and one of the topics discussed will our trip to Scotland in July. The accommodation has been booked by me, and the train tickets are now available. We think we will now travel to Inverness on the direct service from Kings Cross on the East Coadt route, then onwards to Thurso, returning via Glasgow on the West Coast route.

The neighbours next door have a cleaner. She arrives in a big Audi all electric SUV. Having watched " Mrs Harris goes to Paris " recently it doesn't seem very Mrs Mop 🤔

It would appear that being a cleaner can be quite lucrative. Daughter No4 has a friend who set herself up as a cleaner, she now employs another three or four women, and, she appears to be doing very nicely (ie currently on holiday in Rome, with D4 and friends, new BMW, buying own house). I have no idea if all of the niceties of tax etc are being attended to, but, certainly, on the surface, things appear to be VERY good.

Another friend of D4, set herself up as a "Beautician", operating from home. She now has a "Salon" and does various "things", eyebrows, eye lashes, nails etc. The charges for are (to me) scary (eg typically in the range £80 - £120), bearing in mind, this is supposedly a "deprived area" awash with food banks etc, I don't understand where her clients come from. Again, the young lady in question appears to be doing very nicely.

Social night out last night with cycling club, I drove so no alcohol but made schooolboy error of a late coffee which played havoc with the sleep.
Today plan is fit the new pump!. It's arrived so once family go out I can drain down water systems and install it.
