Good morning all.
It's a grey start to the day here.
It's our Son's Birthday today. He is 37, how the time has flown. MrsP still thinks he is 7, so we are meeting him at lunchtime and playing a couple of rounds of crazy golf in Watford, followed by lunchtime eats of some description. This is before we meet up again and are all out to a restaurant in Berkhamsted this evening, MissP and the SIL included, for a meal. Guess who's paying? 🤔
The new knee continues to improve, the range of movement is very good and the ache is subsiding on a daily basis. 😁

So, what's on for me.......
At 12 I have a lunchtime pub visit which I enjoy.
A question for yous .....
I have a company coming later to measure up and price for vertical blinds.
Q.....is it worth getting multiple quotes ??
I have done that in the past but found there is only coppers in it. I will tell them I am getting another quote, just to keep his pencil sharp but may/maynot bother if I get good vibes.

I think you have answered your own question Dace. Lol. It's a personal choice. I wouldn't be bothered faffing around getting more quotes but that's just me.

Being a man of the internet age, I would measure myself & check prices at Blinds2Go & maybe BlindsDirect - that will give you the basic price of the blind. Used both in the past (fitted myself) - decent quality.
Then you will know how much your company is charging to fit.
To be forewarned is to be forearmed 🤣💪

Today will mostly be gardening. & mole-hunting - the little pest bypassed my traps yesterday to leave a fresh mound just inches away 🤦‍♂️

Morning all

Off to Taunton for some shopping today.
My mini gas bottles and torch kit were delivered yesterday, so now I can do the brazing I need to do on a silencer.
Still haven't sorted out the electrical problem on one of the bikes. It's doing my head in!
The house across the way is being painted. Think I'll get a quote whilst he's here.

Pooped now. It’s got a bit muggy out and I have walked around 15 miles in total today. That’s definitely enough.
